Free-standing letterboxes and free-standing letterbox systems have the practical advantage that you are free to decide where they are placed in your home - just the way you like it. The vertical box shape provides enough space for your mail. Another advantage is that you can select systems of up to 12 units. The vertical letterboxes also come with a mail holding bracket. This means that your mail does not fall out when you open the letterbox.

There are 2 different types of mounting for the LEABOX free-standing letterbox system with intercom panel in RAL - LEA3 (1-12-way). Choose between setting in concrete or screwing onto an existing foundation using base plates. Select the desired variation when ordering. Our tip: When mounting your freestanding letterbox or freestanding letterbox system, pay attention to the weather side! The front side of the free-standing letterbox should not face the weather so that your letterbox and your mail are protected as best as possible when you remove them.
For free-standing installations, we advise you to use concrete foundations (B25): Dimensions per frame side 450 x 450 mm. For smaller letterbox systems, a closed foundation with the following dimensions is required: System width 450 x 450 mm. Depending on the condition of the ground, the foundation should be enlarged. The depth of the foundation must be at least 700 mm, depending on the frost line in the ground. Before excavating, please check the existing infrastructure of your ground with your responsible office so that pipelines, electric cables, etc. are not in danger of being damaged. All stand systems, with device for intercom, are equipped with cable conduits and pull wires for easy electrical installation. Please ensure that the cables are pulled in before concreting. In case of installation by means of base plates, heavy-duty anchors (diameter 12 mm) or equivalent must be used for this purpose. If the free-standing letterbox system is installed on a surface with strength below concrete (B25), the warranty becomes void.
The noise-reducing front flap prevents disturbing noise when mail is inserted. The rubber lip on the back of the flap closes quietly and smoothly. The LEABOX free-standing letterbox system with intercom panel in RAL - LEA3 (1-12 compartments) has integrated removal protection and thus protects your mail from unauthorised removal. Each letterbox unit of the system has a cylinder lock and is supplied with 2 keys. You can easily convert the hinge side from right to left yourself. All you have to do is loosen the door hinges and screw them back on the other side. All bell buttons are vandalism-proof and the plastic nameplates are replaceable.
DIN standard:
The LEABOX free-standing letterbox system with intercom panel in RAL - LEA3 (1-12-gang) is produced in conformity with letterbox standard DIN 13724. Among other things, this means that large C4 envelopes and catalogues fit easily into the box without being bent.

Return policy:
Please note that all Leabox items are custom-made. Leabox cannot grant a right of return for custom-made products.
However, as a gesture of goodwill, Letterbox24 grants a 100-day right of return for 1- to 3-unit letterboxes. The letterboxes must then be returned to us in full within the 100 days after the day of delivery. Please note that the letterbox or the 2-way or 3-way letterbox system must be returned undamaged. Shipping costs for returns will be borne by the buyer.
