Features and equipment of the letterbox

In contrast to the F-042 wall pass-through letterbox, the FX-042 has a special FLAT design front panel. This is 2 mm thick and can be installed flush with the wall. The design front panel is 30 mm wider than the standard version. Due to the narrower joints around the insertion flap, less water enters the letterbox through heavy rain. The heavy trim strip on the lower edge of the access flap does not open due to wind.

The FLAT F-042 XXL wall-through letterbox in stainless steel is a further development of our bestseller FLAT FX-04. In contrast to the FX-04, the FLAT FX-042 is characterised by its greater extendable depth. The almost identical FX-042 is therefore suitable for particularly thick walls that the normal FX-04 cannot cover. The angular shape of the letterbox allows plenty of space for your mail and makes it more difficult for unauthorised persons to steal your mail. The XXL wall-through letterbox in stainless steel is suitable for a single-family household.

The box of the FLAT F-042 XXL wall pass-through letterbox in stainless steel is made of 2 parts. These can be pushed apart or into each other. This allows you to adjust the desired depth continuously. The letterbox can be used for wall thicknesses from 27 to 40.5 cm. When the box is fully extended, the FLAT FX-042 has a volume of 39.6 litres. Use the supplied aluminium adhesive tape to fix your desired depth.

The FX-042 XXL wall-through letterbox in stainless steel is made of powder-coated and galvanised sheet steel. After assembly, the body is completely protected from the wall. The front panel and the removal door are made of corrosion-resistant V2A stainless steel.

The most common mounting locations are a wall or a gate pillar, usually at the entrance to a house or property. The FLAT XXL wall-through letterbox in stainless steel is ideal for the postman, as he can post the mail from the street side. The mail is removed from the inside.

Are you also bothered by the annoying rattling of a letterbox flap? Depending on where you live, this noise can reverberate through the entire neighbourhood. The access flap of the FLAT FX-04 stainless steel wall-through letterbox only makes an unobtrusive clicking noise.

Another advantage is the exchangeable hinges of the FX-042 FLAT XXL wall pass-through letterbox in stainless steel. These can be unscrewed and attached to the other opening side.

The vandalism-proof stainless steel bell buttons are flush with the wall. This means that there is no surface for damage to property.

DIN standard

The FLAT FX-042 XXL wall-through letterbox in stainless steel was manufactured in accordance with the DIN 13724 letterbox standard. Large C4 envelopes and catalogues can be easily inserted through the slot. As the shape of the FX-042 is angular, your mail falls into the deep box via the horizontal piece and thus disappears completely in the letterbox.

Alternative products

For walls with a lower thickness, the classic FX-04 is highly recommended. This is suitable for walls with 19 to 27 cm.
