Features and equipment of the letterbox

The F-046 narrow stainless steel letterbox is a model for installation in walls or pillars, which are particularly limited in width. Compared to the F-04 it has a smaller width of 4 cm for the front panel and the box. The F-046 impresses with its robust and durable material, the simple stainless steel front panel, the large capacity due to the angled shape and the large removal door. The model is suitable for one to two-family households.

The F-046 narrow mailbox in stainless steel comes to you in 3 parts: Front panel, box with removal door and one slide-in unit. The drawer is mounted on the front panel. The box and drawer are then pushed into each other with the front panel. Due to the variability, you can adjust the required depth continuously. The two parts are then fixed with the supplied aluminium adhesive tape. You can pull out the narrow stainless steel letterbox from 19 to 27 cm. The room circumference of the F-046 can change from 16.3 to 21.5 litres.

You can choose from 4 different front panel types for the F-046: a narrow stainless steel letterbox (without name plate, with name plate, with name plate and bell or with 2 name plates and 2 bells).

Our tip: Even if you only need one bell, the second additional button could be helpful. This can also serve another purpose. Wired as a light switch or door opener it could be very useful.

The F-046 narrow pass-through letterbox in stainless steel is made of durable and corrosion-resistant materials. The box and drawer are made of powder coated and galvanized sheet steel. The visible elements after assembly, such as front panel and removal door, are made of high-quality V2A stainless steel.

A letterbox is optimal for postmen, because they can throw in the mail from the street side. There is no need for a postman to enter your premises or to ring your doorbell to enter. The mail is conveniently removed from the inside of the wall through a large removal door.

Are you familiar with the annoying rattling of an access flap? If the letterbox flaps close with a clattering noise, you know exactly when your postman is there. Depending on where you live, this noise can be heard all over the neighbourhood. The flap of the F-046 narrow stainless steel mailbox is dampened by a rubber lip and does not make this annoying noise.

With the help of the integrated removal protection, your mail is protected against unauthorized removal. The shape of the narrow stainless steel letterbox makes it very difficult to intervene.

The opening of the removal door can be individually adjusted to your local conditions. The hinges are exchangeable. The opening direction of the removal door can be changed by unscrewing and screwing on the hinges.

The bell buttons of the F-046 narrow pass-through letterbox in stainless steel are vandal-proof. They are flat flush and therefore do not provide an attack surface for damage.

DIN standard

Please note that due to the narrower width of the narrow letterbox in stainless steel, the requirements of the letterbox standard DIN 13724 can unfortunately not be met. The width is not sufficient to insert large C4 envelopes without bending them slightly.

Colour, material selection and extensions

The F-046 narrow letterbox in stainless steel is available in RAL colours on request. Additional buttons or nameplates are also possible.

With an intercom preparation and a fixed depth of 20 cm you can also purchase the F-046 from us.

If you have a wider wall or post, we recommend the F-04. This is the same in depth, but the F-04 is wider. Thus it fulfils the letterbox standard and larger mail can be thrown in without any problems.
