Features and equipment of the letterbox

The body of the FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox has the same dimensions as our bestseller F-04. The difference is the FLAT design front panel! This is 30 mm wider. The flat design of the stainless steel front panel looks very elegant. The access flap is flush with the front panel. The joints around the access flap are narrower than those of the standard front panel. This means that less water enters the letterbox due to heavy rain. The strong trim strip on the lower edge of the access flap prevents it from opening due to wind.

The FX-04 has already convinced many of our customers with its large volume for narrow walls, the large removal door. The angular design of the box also makes full use of the height of the wall. The wall-through letterbox is suitable for a one- to two-family household.

The FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox comes to you in 3 parts: Front panel, front part of the box and rear box part with removal door. The front part of the letterbox is screwed to the front panel. Then the rear part of the box with the removal door is pushed into each other. Due to the variability, you can adjust your desired depth steplessly. The two body parts are then fixed together with the aluminium adhesive tape supplied. You can extend the FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox from 19 to 27 cm. The volume of the FX-04 can thus change from approx. 14.2 to approx. 35.5 litres.

The stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox is made of durable and corrosion-resistant materials. The box is made of powder-coated and galvanised sheet steel. The elements visible after installation, such as the front panel and removal door, are made of high-quality V2A stainless steel.

A stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox is intended for installation in a wall or gate pillar, usually at the entrance to a house or property. A wall-through letterbox is ideal for postmen, as the mail can be posted from the street side. There is no need for a delivery service to enter your property or ring your doorbell to let you in. You can conveniently collect your mail from the inside of the wall.

Do you know the annoying clattering of a posting flap? Every time you drop your mail, you hear the flap slam shut. Depending on where you live, this noise can reverberate throughout the entire neighbourhood. The flap of the FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall-mounted letterbox only makes an unobtrusive clicking noise.

With the help of the integrated removal protection, your mail is protected against unauthorised removal. The shape of the stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox alone makes it very difficult to intervene.

The opening of the removal door can be individually adapted to your local conditions. You can mount the hinges on the desired side of the door and thus determine the door stop yourself.

DIN standard

The letterbox standard DIN 13724 was introduced so that tenants and homeowners do not have to deal with mail that hangs out, gets wet or even does not fit in. Letterboxes are manufactured according to this standard, which, among other things, ensures that mail can be inserted without any problems.

The slot size of the FX-04 is wide enough to allow large C4 envelopes and catalogues to pass through. Due to the angular shape of the FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall-through letterbox, your mail falls into the deep box via the horizontal piece and thus disappears completely in the letterbox.

Alternative products

The F-04 family is huge. The FX-04 stainless steel FLAT wall pass-through letterbox is also available as F-04 with the cheaper standard front panel. The F-04 wall pass-through letterbox is also available with a speech screen.

If you do not want to install the F-04 in a wall but, for example, integrate it in a gabion or attach it to a gate, we recommend the F-04 in 100% stainless steel. This letterbox is also variably depth-adjustable, but all components are made of V2A stainless steel.
