Features and equipment of the letterbox

The DX-041 stainless steel pass-through letterbox is a space-saving miracle for narrow walls. Not everyone has a deep wall. But you don't have to do without the advantages of a wall-through letterbox. The diagonal shape of the pass-through letterbox in stainless steel creates a larger volume than with a straight box in the wall thickness. Another advantage of the diagonal design is that the mail slides through to the removal door. The mail is ready to hand at the removal door.

What distinguishes the DX-041 wall-through letterbox from the D-041 letterbox? The FLAT design of the front panel! The 2 mm thick front panel can be installed flush with the wall. This looks particularly elegant. Due to the small gap around the access flap, very little or no water penetrates the letterbox during heavy rain. The heavy decorative edge on the underside of the letterbox flap not only creates a pleasant sound when closing. It also keeps the flap closed during storms.

The body of the DX-041 stainless steel pass-through letterbox with FLAT design is made of powder-coated and galvanised sheet steel. The front panel and the removal door are made of solid V2A stainless steel. The steel is rustproof and will withstand the weather for many years.

One particularly practical feature of the wall-through letterbox in stainless steel should be emphasised. As the letterbox is inserted at the front, there is no need for a postman to enter your premises. The removal door is on the back of the wall. You do not have to leave your property to collect the mail.

The depth of the DX-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel can be individually adjusted. The body is divided into 2 pieces. By sliding the two pieces in and out, the depth can be adjusted between 24 and 39 cm. The volume therefore varies from 7.5 to 12.5 litres. The two parts of the box are attached with aluminium adhesive tape, which is supplied with the box. The volume of the DX-041 pass-through letterbox in FLAT design is perfectly adequate for a single-family household.

The DX-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel has an integrated removal protection. Your mail cannot be pulled out. The hinge side can be moved from right to left with a simple self-conversion. The door hinges are simply loosened and screwed back on the other side.

DIN standard

The DX-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel with FLAT design is produced in accordance with the letterbox standard DIN 13724. However, due to the adjustable depth, the letterbox only complies with the DIN standard from a set depth of 33 cm. Large C4 envelopes and catalogues fit easily through the slot from a depth of 33 cm and do not protrude from the pass-through letterbox.

Alternative products

For thicker walls, we offer the DX-042 with FLAT design. This has a variable depth of 33 to 50 cm.

The D-041 is the cheaper version of the DX-041 with a standard front panel.
