Features and equipment of the letterbox

The space miracle for narrow walls is the pass-through letterbox in stainless steel D-041. Not everyone has a strong and deep wall. But you don't have to do without the enrichment of a through wall letterbox. The slanted shape of the letterbox creates a larger volume than with a straight box in the wall thickness. Another advantage of the diagonal design is that the mail slides through to the removal door. When the door is opened, your mail is ready to hand. It is no longer necessary to fish out the mail.

The body of the pass-through letterbox in stainless steel D-041 is made of powder-coated and galvanised sheet steel. The front panel and the removal door are made of solid V2A stainless steel. The steel is stainless and can withstand the weather for many years.

A particularly practical feature of the pass-through letterbox in stainless steel is to be emphasised. As the mail is thrown in on the front, no postman has to enter your premises. The removal door is on the back of the wall. You don't have to leave your property for this anymore.

For the D-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel there are 4 different front panels (with bell and name plate, with 2 bells and name plates, only with name plate and without name plate). Please select the desired version when ordering.

Our tip: The second bell does not necessarily have to be used as an apartment bell. You or your electrician can also wire the pushbutton as a light pushbutton, for example.
The depth of the pass-through letterbox in stainless steel can be individually adjusted. The body is divided into 2 parts. The depth can be adjusted between 23 and 38 cm by pulling the two parts apart or pushing them in. The volume therefore varies from 7.5 to 12.5 litres. The two parts of the box are fastened with an aluminium adhesive tape supplied. The D-041 stainless steel pass-through letterbox has a perfectly large enough space for a single-family household.

The noise-damped flap avoids annoying noise when mail is thrown in. Due to a rubber lip on the back of the flap, it closes quietly. The D-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel has an integrated removal protection. Your mail is thus protected from unauthorised removal. The hinge side can be moved from the right to the left by simply converting it yourself. The door hinges are only loosened and screwed again on the other side. The stainless steel bell buttons are vandal-proof.

DIN standard

The D-041 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel is basically produced according to the letterbox standard DIN 13724. However, due to the adjustable depth, the letterbox only fulfils the DIN standard from a set depth of 33 cm. Large envelopes and catalogues fit, from a depth of 33 cm, easily through the insertion slot and do not protrude from the pass-through letterbox.

Alternative productsThe D-041 is also available in a variation with intercom preparation. The D-041 is available as a letterbox system for 2 to 6 parties in stainless steel with or without intercom. For thicker wall thicknesses, we recommend the angled letterboxes from our range, such as the D-042. This is identical in construction to the D-041 letterbox in stainless steel. However, the depth of the D-042 is from 33 to 48 cm.
