Features and equipment of the letterbox

Our space miracle for narrow walls is the pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black D-041. Not everyone has a particularly deep wall. But you don't have to miss out on winning a through wall letterbox. Due to the oblique shape of the letterbox, a larger volume is created than with a straight box with the same wall thickness. Another advantage of the diagonal design is that the letters slide through to the removal door. When the door is opened, your mail is ready to hand at the end of the box. It is now no longer necessary to fish out the mail.

The entire letterbox of the pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black D-041 is made of powder-coated and galvanized sheet steel. The powder coating protects the material from corrosion, scratches and weathering.

A particularly practical feature of the pass-through letterbox in anthracite and black is to be emphasised. Since the mail is posted on the front of the mailbox, no delivery person has to enter your premises. The removal door is located on the back of the wall. You no longer have to leave your property for the removal.

For the D-041 pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black there are 4 different front panels (with bell and name plate, with 2 bells and name plates, only with name plate and without name plate). You select the desired variation with the order.

Our tip: The second bell does not necessarily have to be used as an apartment bell. You or your electrician can also wire the pushbutton as a light pushbutton, for example.
The depth of the pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black can be individually changed. The body is divided into 2 parts. The depth can be adjusted between 23 and 38 cm by pushing the two parts apart or inserting them. The volume therefore varies from 7.5 to 12.5 litres. The two box parts are fastened with an aluminium adhesive tape supplied. The room circumference of the D-041 pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black is perfectly sufficient for a single-family household.

The noise-damped flap on the front panel prevents annoying noise when mail is thrown in. Due to a rubber lip on the back of the flap, it closes quietly. The D-041 pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black has an integrated removal protection. Your mail is thus protected from unauthorised removal. The hinge side can be moved from the right to the left by simply converting it yourself. The door hinges are only loosened and screwed again on the other side. The stainless steel bell buttons are vandal-proof.

DIN standard

The D-041 pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black is basically produced in accordance with letterbox standard DIN 13724. However, due to the adjustable depth, the letterbox only fulfils the DIN standard from a set depth of 33 cm. Large C4 envelopes and catalogues fit easily through the slot and do not protrude from the letterbox.

Colour, material selection and extensions
The D-041 pass-through letterbox in anthracite or black can also be found in our shop in stainless steel. Other colour requests can also be produced as special orders. Further buttons, name plates or illuminated pushbuttons are possible.

Alternative products

The D-041 is also available in stainless steel with intercom preparation. The D-041 is available in stainless steel or without intercom as a letterbox system for 2 to 6 parties.

For stronger wall thicknesses we recommend the diagonal letterbox D-042 from our range. This is identical in construction to the D-041 letterbox in anthracite or black. However, the depth of the D-042 is from 33 to 48 cm.
