Features and equipment of the letterbox

With the B-242 XXL pass-through letterbox in stainless steel you get plenty of room for your mail. This model is useful for families or companies with high letter and catalogue mailings. During a holiday, your new mailbox will not overflow so quickly.

The large letterbox B-242 XXL can be pulled out variably in depth. This covers the wall thicknesses from 39 to 62 cm. When fully extended (62 cm), our B-242 XXL letterbox in stainless steel is the largest model in terms of volume that you will find in the shop. Your desired depth is fixed with an aluminium adhesive tape which is included in the delivery.

You can order the letterbox with the timelessly beautiful front panel in 4 variants (without name plate, with name plate, with name plate and bell, 2 name plates and 2 bells).

A small tip: The second bell does not necessarily have to be used as an apartment bell. You or your electrician can also wire the pushbutton as a light pushbutton, for example.
To mount the B-242 XXL letterbox in stainless steel, you need a horizontal opening in your wall. Thus the installation is considerably easier than with slanted or angled letterbox models. The box, made of powder-coated and galvanized sheet steel, is completely protected by the wall after installation. The V2A stainless steel front panel and the removal door are robust against weather influences for many years.

The unique selling point of a pass-through letterbox is the insertion on the front and the removal door on the back of the letterbox. The postman delivers your mail from the street side. You don't have to leave your property to remove your mail.

The B-242 XXL stainless steel mailbox avoids rattling noises when the mail is thrown in. The flap is dampened on the back with a rubber lip. The integrated removal protection protects your personal mail from unauthorised removal. The opening direction of the removal door can be individually adjusted by means of exchangeable hinges. Our stainless steel bell buttons are vandal-proof.

DIN standard

The box and the insert comply with letterbox standard DIN 13724. Large C4 envelopes and catalogues fit easily through the flap and do not protrude from the letterbox.
