Features and equipment of the letterbox

The B-042 through wall Mailbox in anthracite or black convinces with its classic design, its generosity and easy installation. The wall hole for installation is straightened. Installation is therefore easier than with an angled letterbox. Due to the installation method of a through wall mailbox, it is very durable. The box is made of galvanised and powder-coated sheet steel.

Your mail will be delivered to the outside of your property. No mail carrier has to enter your property. You can conveniently remove the mail from within your property, at the back of the through wall mailbox.

Our B-042 through wall mailbox in anthracite or black is available with different front panels (with bell and name plate, with 2 bells and name plates, only with name plate and without name plate). The bell buttons can be used for other tasks. For example, the second bell does not necessarily have to be used as a domestic bell, but as a light switch.

The depth of the through wall mailbox in anthracite and black can be changed. You can adjust the depth individually to your wall thickness by sliding both parts of the box in or out. Your desired thickness is fixed with an aluminium adhesive tape. This is included in the delivery. Thus the B-042 through wall covers mailboxes in anthracite or black wall thicknesses from 39 to 62 cm. The capacity of the mailbox (12.8 to 20.4 litres) is sufficient for a one- to two-family household.

The damped throw-in panel on the B-042 through wall, available in anthracite or black, prevents noisy rattling noises. The integrated removal protection on the inside of the mailbox protects your personal mail from unauthorised removal. You can determine the direction of the opening of the removal door yourself by means of exchangeable hinges. The door hinges only have to be loosened and screwed again on the other side. Our stainless steel bells are vandal-proof.

DIN standard

The box and the slot are manufactured according to the letterbox standard DIN 13724. Large envelopes and catalogues fit easily through the flap and do not protrude from the through wall.

Colour, material selection and extensions

Normally we offer our B-042 in anthracite (RAL 7016) or black (RAL 9005). In addition, we can also have the model produced for you in any other RAL colour.

Our most used RAL colours are:

• Traffic white (RAL 9016), light grey (RAL 7035),
• Window grey (RAL 7040), ivory (RAL 1014),
• Clay brown (RAL 8003), nut brown (RAL 8011),
• Chocolate brown (RAL 8017), grey brown (RAL 8019),
• Anthracite (RAL 9017) and deep black (RAL 9005).
