Features and equipment of the letterbox

The B-042 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel impresses with its typical look, spaciousness and simple installation. The hole in the wall for installation is created horizontally. This is much less complicated than installing a slanted letterbox. The installation type of a throw-through letterbox and the V2A stainless steel material of the front plate and the removal door make the letterbox particularly robust. The box is made of galvanized and powder-coated sheet steel.

Your mail can be posted outside your property. No mail carrier has to enter your property. You can conveniently remove your mail from inside your property at the back of the mailbox.

Our B-042 stainless steel mailbox is available with different front plates (with bell and nameplate, with 2 bells and nameplates, with nameplate only and without nameplate). The second bell does not necessarily have to be used as a doorbell. You or your electrician can also wire the button as a light button, for example.

The depth of the stainless steel mailbox is variably adjustable. By sliding both parts of the box in or out, you can adjust the depth to suit the thickness of your wall. Your desired depth is fixed with an aluminum adhesive tape. This is included in the delivery. The B-042 pass-through letterbox in stainless steel therefore covers wall thicknesses from 39 to 62 cm. The volume of the letter box (12.8 to 20.4 liters) is sufficient for a one- to two-family household.

The integrated removal protection on the inside of the letterbox protects your personal mail from unauthorized removal. You can decide the opening direction of the removal door yourself thanks to the interchangeable hinges. The hinges simply need to be loosened and screwed back in on the other side. Our stainless steel bell pushes are vandal-proof.

DIN standard

The box and the insert complies with letterbox standard DIN 13724. Large envelopes and catalogs fit easily through the insert flap and do not protrude from the letterbox.
